How To Find Us

Woodside is situated about 350 metres North of the village centre (Douglas Square) on the B6357, next to the Police Station, if approaching from the South. Travelling from the North by either the B6357 or B6399, you will see the Newcastleton sign where the road goes a little to the right and drops into the village. We are the fifth house on the right – the detached red stone house.

The major route from the North is, however, the M74/A74M, then the M6; exit at Junction 44 signed Carlisle/Hawick/Galashiels. Follow the A7 North, the first exit on the left (Hawick/Galashiels), through Longtown and Canonbie on B6357, until Newcastleton is reached in approximately 12 miles North of Canonbie.
